Where to Buy Face Masks in Calgary

Mariah Wilson

Now that we are in the thick of COVID-19 restrictions, it seems like face masks will be staying around for much longer than anticipated. Stylish and locally-made reusable face masks can be great last-minute stocking stuffers or the final addition to someone on your gift giving list. We have compiled a list of five local brands that you can buy from this holiday season.

Price range: $10 to $17.95

You can shop from their impressive tie-dye collection for matching adult and kid's masks so that you and your little ones can step out in style in the new year.

Price range: $14 (2 masks), $30 (5 masks), and $57 (10 masks)

If you have a lot of people left on your list or want to stockpile masks for the upcoming months, Hippo Hug has a lot of bulk options for both adults and kids. But, rest assured, all of their bundles come in funky and unique patterns.

Price range: $19.99 t0 $21.99

This Calgary-based business is donating a portion of its profits to frontline workers through the "Crochet Initiative." Their reusable fitted masks are a mix of contemporary and classic designs, so there's something for everyone on your gift giving list.

Price range: $12 to $15

Oke Apparel's masks may not as pretty as other designs, but they are the most protective since there are seven layers of filtration. Their masks come in three adult sizes as well as a kid's size and can be ordered in either black or teal.

Price range: $5

If you want face masks that are specifically Calgary- or Canadian-themed, then look no further. Plainsbreaker Apparel has several colourful face masks that feature a red maple leaf or YYC on the side. Not only will you look good, but you can feel good since $1 from every mask sale is donated to a local charity.
