It requires a lot of essential skills and provides many opportunities for educators to show their learners how useful skills like reading, writing, measuring, and math can be used in everyday situations like baking. It’s been just over a month since the start of our "Pie in the FESA" fundraiser. In that time, there has been a lot of developments: here at FESA, in Calgary, and in Canada. But we’re just going to stick to the first two. Pie in the FESA amount raised: We are excited to announce that we’ve already raised $2,625! So, first off, thank you to everyone who has donated! "Pie in the FESA" Colouring Page

We thought we'd take a break from our weekly interview-based blog posts and provide another resource for parents with young children to use at home. In keeping with our fundraiser's theme, we designed a colouring page that features a lattice-top homemade pie. The illustration was based off a family recipe that we'll be posting in the coming weeks so that you can follow along and make your own delicious pie at home.
